The Fireball run made a stop at Grattan Raceway and in downtown Grand Rapids. Ken Firlik sent Photos for us that could not make it. Thanks Ken.

The cars all got to run timed laps if they wanted to. They had a Limo make a lap and the Back to the Future 2 Delorean made some laps, as well as a host of cars.

Geo, The 20Th annual Lane Automotive show was truly outstanding. The $4.19+ for gas did not keep people away. With over 1,000 car there, it was a sight to see, with everything from live AA/Fuel Dragesters to live gators! The Lanes put on a top notch show with the only bad luck being a broken ball joint on one hot street rods. Lane came to the rescue and brought out a fork lift to help. Ken Firlik

The Burn Survivors Car Show at Fifth Third Ball park raised over 11,500.00 toward helping burn victims. The motto from the show was.. "Anything with wheels" and the helicopter had wheels! Just a great show and a great day. Patsy Ghysles was also there representing the Speedrome Historical Society, what a blast from the past!

We were invited to go to the Kruse Auto Auction in Auburn, IN and I have lived long enough where not much awes me, but this was just fandamntastic. Here is a sample of the day. Thanks Tom & Mary !

Look at the blower set-up on this one and you can camp in it or turn
it over and go fishing if you get the urge.

A very belated thank you to so many of you for your kind words, prayers, flowers, cards and all. I can't express how much all of that has meant to both me and my family regarding the passing of my dad, Buddy Stewart. You've heard the saying "hard on the gas 'til you see God... then brake!" Well, if you know my dad you probably know he didn't have much use for brakes. Take care everyone and thanks again, so much. -RS
